After a two year pause due to COVID-19 health restrictions, Delian renewed its donated election observation support to the University of West Indies (Trinidad & Tobago) for campus elections.

UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL COMPACT CANADA, ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The Canadian branch of the United Nations Global Compact held its annual general meeting 14 December 2020. Due to the global pandemic, the AGM was conducted on-line as a virtual forum. Delian has been a signatory to the UNGC since its Canadian launch.
29TH ACEEEO ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Now in its 29th year, Delian supported the ACEEEO AGM with a panel discussion on dealing with disinformation by external actors during elections. The conference was delivered virtually this year as a result of the on-going pandemic.
PANDEMIC RESPONSE

Delian was pleased to co-host with ICPS the international virtual round-table discussion on the challenges of hosting elections during a pandemic. Speakers included the U.S. Election Assistance Commission and the Independent Election Commission of South Africa.

Delian contributed to the 19th IEAS and international electoral awards in South Africa with presentations on safeguarding against disinformation during elections. The two-day event ran from 17-19 February 2020 in Durban.
LAUNCH OF THE ELECTORAL PSYCHOLOGY OBSERVATORY, LONDON, UK

Delian was very pleased to be represented at the formal launch of the Electoral Psychology Observatory at the London School of Economics on 6 February 2020, which was also Global Election Day. Funded through the European Research Council, the EPO aims to understand the emotions and motives that surround the larger voting population at election time.
